EQUIPMENT OPERATOR/GROUNDSMAN
The City of Siloam Springs
Electric Department is accepting applications for an Equipment Operator/Groundsman. This
position assists in the construction, maintenance and repair of electrical
systems, including substations, distribution systems, transformers and power
lines. This position is required to work
after normal working hours in the case of power outages and shares in the regular
stand-by rotation. This position requires the employee to live within a
ten-mile radius of Siloam Springs.
Applicants must possess a
high school diploma or GED equivalent, or 12 to 18 months related experience
and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. The successful applicant is required to have
a valid driver’s license.
